This policy describes how Yaoumy collects, uses and protects data on the website yaoumy.com. Yaoumy is committed to respecting your privacy and complying with Algerian Law No. 18-07 of June 10, 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

2. Data collected on this site

The yaoumy.com website is a purely marketing site intended to present our daycare management application. Data collection is intentionally minimal:

  • No non-essential cookies: no third-party trackers, no advertising cookies.
  • No analytics solutions: no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no equivalent.
  • No forms: all contact is made by email, phone or WhatsApp (see the Contact section on the home page).
  • Nginx server logs: IP address, user agent and requested URL, retained for 30 days then automatically purged. These logs are used exclusively for security and technical monitoring purposes.

3. Data collected in the Yaoumy application

The Yaoumy application (accessible on app.yaoumy.com and through the iOS / Android mobile applications) collects data distinct from that described here: information about children, parents, attendance, photos, messages, etc.

These processing activities are governed by a dedicated privacy policy, presented to the user when creating their account in the application. This policy is also compliant with Algerian Law 18-07.

4. Your rights (Law 18-07)

In accordance with Algerian Law No. 18-07 of June 10, 2018, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and request a copy.
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to object: object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your data.
  • Right to be forgotten (erasure): request the deletion of your data when its retention is no longer justified. To delete your Yaoumy account and the associated data, follow the account deletion procedure.

5. Security and hosting

Yaoumy takes the security of your data very seriously:

  • Hosting in Algeria: the site and the application are hosted on a dedicated Hostarts VPS, located in Algeria.
  • Transactional emails: for delivery reliability reasons, service-related emails (invitations, notifications) are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS SES), in the eu-west-3 region (Paris, France) — territory offering an adequate level of protection.
  • HTTPS encryption: all connections are forced to HTTPS via Let's Encrypt SSL certificates.
  • Purged logs: server logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • No transfers to other third countries beyond those mentioned above.

6. Updates to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes in the service, legal context or best practices. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of the page.
